Terms of Use

1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account on PromptPaddi or using any part of our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the service.

PromptPaddi is operated by AFRISAGE LTD/GTE, a company registered in Nigeria.

2. Eligibility

PromptPaddi is for adults aged 18 and over only. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

The service is designed for Nigerian educators, parents, consultants, non-teaching school staff, home educators and lesson teachers. You do not need to be based in Nigeria to use the service, but the content is designed for the Nigerian education context.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your login details with anyone else. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.

4. The service

PromptPaddi provides a curated library of AI prompts designed for Nigerian school communities. The service includes:

• Access to a searchable library of curated AI prompts, filtered by audience track, category and tier.
• The ability to copy, adapt and launch prompts to third-party AI platforms (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Copilot, Perplexity, Meta AI, Gamma and InVideo AI).
• Safety features including sensitive-content flags, specialist-vet notices, and an anonymisation scanner.
• Account features including favourites, prompt history, feedback submission and (for Pro users) saved search presets and advanced search tools.

PromptPaddi does not host or operate any AI model. When you launch a prompt to a third-party platform, your interaction with that platform is governed by its own terms of service and privacy policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use PromptPaddi responsibly and in accordance with our Safe AI Use Guide. In particular, you must:

• Never paste real pupil names, staff names, addresses, medical records, SEN data or any personal data into AI prompts. Use anonymous placeholders such as [STUDENT], [SCHOOL NAME] or [TEACHER].
• Always review, adapt and quality-check AI outputs before using them with pupils, parents or colleagues.
• Take full professional responsibility for any content you produce using PromptPaddi prompts and AI tools.
• Not attempt to circumvent subscription tier restrictions, access controls, or any security measures.
• Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service or extract prompt content in bulk.
• Not redistribute, resell or republish PromptPaddi prompt content without written permission.

6. Subscriptions and payment

PromptPaddi offers the following subscription tiers: Trial (free, limited access), Starter, Pro and Enterprise. Paid subscriptions are processed through Paystack.

• Billing: Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen billing cycle. Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes.
• Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.
• Free access: New accounts receive 200 free prompt views across 3 days. After this, a paid plan is required to continue accessing prompts.

7. School and organisation licences

Schools, colleges and other organisations may access PromptPaddi under an organisation licence, which provides access for multiple staff members under a single agreement. Organisation licences are arranged directly with us (typically by bank transfer or invoice) rather than through the website's self-service checkout.

• Licence term: Each organisation licence runs for a fixed period (for example, 12 months) ending on a stated licence expiry date. Access for all members of the organisation is granted for the duration of that term.
• Renewal reminders: As the expiry date approaches, we send reminder emails to the organisation's administrator (typically 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before expiry, and on the expiry date) so the licence can be renewed in good time.
• Grace period: If a licence is not renewed by its expiry date, a grace period of 7 days follows, during which the organisation's members retain access to allow time to complete the renewal.
• Suspension after expiry: If the licence is still not renewed at the end of the grace period, access for the organisation and its members is suspended until the licence is renewed. Suspension does not delete the organisation's account or its custom content, which is restored on renewal.
• Trials: We may, at our discretion, offer a time-limited trial of organisation access. Trial access ends automatically at the end of the trial period unless a licence is taken out.
• Member management: The organisation's administrator is responsible for managing its members (adding or removing staff and assigning access) and for ensuring that members use the service in accordance with these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The PromptPaddi prompt library, including all prompt text, categorisation, safety flags, descriptions and metadata, is the intellectual property of AFRISAGE LTD/GTE.

When you use a prompt from the library, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use and adapt that prompt for your own professional or personal educational purposes. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell or republish prompt content from the library.
• Create a competing product or service using PromptPaddi prompt content.
• Claim authorship of prompt content sourced from PromptPaddi.

Content you create by adapting our prompts and using third-party AI tools is yours. PromptPaddi makes no claim over the outputs you generate.

9. Flagging and feedback

You may flag prompts that you believe are inaccurate, inappropriate or pose a safeguarding risk. You may also submit feedback through the app. We review all flags and feedback, but we are not obligated to take any specific action in response.

By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your suggestions to improve the service.

10. Disclaimers

PromptPaddi is a prompt curation tool, not an AI service. We do not control or guarantee the outputs produced by third-party AI platforms. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, culturally inappropriate content or bias. You must always review outputs before use.
• PromptPaddi prompts are provided as starting points and guides. They are not a substitute for professional judgement, especially in areas such as safeguarding, SEN provision, medical references or legal matters.
• We make every effort to ensure prompt quality, but we do not guarantee that every prompt will produce useful or accurate results in every AI platform.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law:

• AFRISAGE LTD/GTE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of PromptPaddi or any AI-generated content produced using our prompts.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for any actions taken by third-party AI platforms, payment processors or hosting providers.

12. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@promptpaddi.com. We will delete your personal data within 30 days of your request, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Use or our Safe AI Use Guide.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent access controls or security measures.
• Are found to be under the age of 18.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PromptPaddi after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For material changes that affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email.

14. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or your use of PromptPaddi shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
